Debian Linux has no more power than any other Linux, even the one Cobalt
users. You can completely ignore the Cobalt gui and take advantage of
the Cobalt hardware, if that's what you'd like. You can even install
your own Linux on Cobalt hardware if you want, but it's no trival task,
because the Cobalt is an extremely non-standard Intel system. However
it IS doable. If interested, I'd suggest you join the cobalt-developers
list.
