[cobalt-users] problems with dot in email addresses

I'm setting up a Raq4. I've got several domains hosted with an assortment
of users and email addresses. Some addresses contain the dot (ie..
firstname.lastname@.....). When sending a test to their address, I get the
'User Unknown' error. I've sifted through many docos on the cobalt site
with no success in finding a solution. I can successfully send mail if I
add the hostname to the email address; however this isn't preferred. I
noticed that the Raq4 sets up the email alias with the dot between the
names by default when entering new users; strange that it doesn't work like
the others without.
