I'm looking for someone willing and able to provide a secondary MX
service for a handful of domains (none of which are busy at all).
Secondary DNS is another possibility but not required.
I'd like to offer my handful of customers a secondary mail server that
would simply relay mail if my server was unreachable or down for any
reason. I have a raq3 from UK2NET in the UK and therefore the secondary
server should be outside of the uk2net.com network. All the secondary
server would do is accept email for the specified domains if my server
was unable to respond and forward it on to my server when my server
became available once more.
The logical thing would be for this to be a straight reciprocal
arrangement where I provide the same service to you.
Configuring this on the raq is really easy - but I've only just figured
out how to get sendmail do it.
Currently I use centralinfo.net for secondary DNS, so I wouldn't require
you to provide secondary DNS for my domains, though again, a reciprocal
arrangement may be beneficial.
Best to contact me off-list think.
