Hi,
You may want to read some of the great documentation at
http://www.openssh.org
There is also a program called "sftp" I beleive, that allows for secure
ftp connections, but I'll assume that the server must be running an
"sftpd" :-)
But diffinatley (sp) read the docs at www.openssh.org
