Unfortunately this didnt help at all, cause after I removed the /, the
counter spit out an error to the browser (an error occured processing this
directive)
I also have a the FormMail-Script which does the same: Gives a warning in
error.log but still works.
But as this topic doesn't seem to be related to cobalt, I'll start looking
elsewhere.

The reason I posted it to this list was 'cause I thought it might have
something to do with the RaQ's!
