I am having a problem getting webalizer to work on a few domains. At first I
thought there was an ownership problem on the /stats/ directory because the
domains I am having problems with were originally uploaded under admin, and
later switched to siteadmin.
Turns out the problem lies with the log files in the /log/ directory. On all
the sites that work,
web.log is recreated at 7:09am
web.log.1.gz at 7:12am.
On the sites that aren't working, the
web.log is recreated at 7:12am
web.log.1.gz at 7:09am.
It seems the logs are wiped out before webalizer runs, and with no log file,
webalizer has nothing to process, so it doesn't create anything in the stats
directory. I uncompressed the .gz file and manually ran webalizer, and sure
enough, webalizer output was produced.
My question is, why is this happening, and how would I go about fixing it? I
have gone so far as to remove the virtual through the gui, recreate it, and
reupload the site to no avail.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Michael Hooper
