Gary,
I've been working on a billing program on and off for about two years
as I find the time or need. We have a web hosting company so its designed
specifically for that.

The primary purpose of this program was to shorten setup times for sites and
accounting. Since most of our time was taken with sending custom messages
for
new orders/billing its fairly strong in these areas.

My intention is to provide it for sale in the next year or so.

It uses MS Access 2000 database so it may be best if you have Access 2000 in
the event you have to edit any of the tables directly.

I will provide it to a limited number of people with the following
conditions:

1. First, use it at your own risk, no warranties.
2. You must provide feedback, suggestions, report problems.

Drawbacks:
1. Its under development, consider it an alpha release.
2. Its designed around the way we do things.
3. Functionality is currently limited.
4. Reports are currently very limited.
5. No security built in.
6. Requires common sense, only basic help files created.
7. Setting it up with most likely require patience.

What it does:
1. Tracks customers billing.
2. Tracks resellers billing.
3. Creates customized messages:
   Order Confirmation - New Customers
   Whois Lookup - with instructions for changing dns
   Logins
4. Invoices (Email)

Future Plans:
1. Affiliate tracking.
2. Expenses tracking.
3. Support ticketing system.

Hi All

I just wanted to do a checkup of who's using what in terms of billing
software. It seems 99.99% of all software out there revolves around ISP's
and not web hosting companies

What works for you? Is it customizable? Cost? URL?
