Hi
For some reason we are now unable to reference the siteadmin options when
an ip address is used to reference a site:
eg http://0.0.0.0/siteadmin
this generates http 404 - file not found error.
However if the associated domain name for the ip address is used it works fine.
eg http://domainname.com/siteadmin
We have not made any changes to the server configuration.
Any ideas most welcome.
Stephen
Thanks for the thoughts on this problem. Following up to the posted responses.
1) We allocate 1 IP address per domain
2) We have not installed any certificates
3) We understand how siteadmin is redirected to
http://0.0.0.0:81/.cobalt/siteManage/www.domainname.com/index.html
The sites in the past could be referenced using the ipaddress. We have
sites in development which we wish to have accessed only using the assigned
ip address until they are ready for production when we will setup the
relevant dns entries. (Note we are not running dns on this server).
Although point three is workable we would like to get the server back to
recognizing siteadmin after an ip address.
Many thanks ... Stephen
