Not sure if I saw an answer to this or not, but here's what I have tried and
seems to work. Not sure on the ramifications so far either though.
Remove FP ext's from the site, telnet into the server and get in their site
folder
chmod -R 755 web
chown -R nobody.siteXX web
Then reapply the FP ext's and that did the trick for me!
