Easy really.....first set up a new virtual site on the Raq with "subdomain"
as the host, second set up domain.com as the site name, third, uncheck
the email and web access boxes.
Once this is saved you will see your subdomain set up as a virtual site.
Next, go to the control panel / dns settings and add a standard name setting
under the relevant domain to point the new subdomain at your IP address for
the raq.
Then, go to your own domain provider DNS control and where you see things
like
www domain.com 123.456.56.789
mail domain.com 123.456.56.789
just add a new one called
subdomain domain.com 123.456.56.789
You may need to request this to be done by your host, try this site if you
want cheap control
www.freeparking.co.uk then wait 24hrs for the dns server to be updated.
enter the new URL and you will see the set up page for your new site /
subdomain in the raq. Just insert a
meta refresh control if you want it to forward to a subdirectory of an
existing site.
email me off topic if you need further help.
