RE: [cobalt-users] Catchall e-mails...

Evening All,
I did this to establish a catch all on my RaQ2 and it started sending me ALL
the email for that domain. So I deleted it and now for some weird reason
it's working like I wanted it to in the first place!!!

I have no idea why or how this happened but it now does what I want so I
don't question it.

Too Weird!!!

When you create a new site, leave the "email server alias" empty -- I seem
to recall reading here somewhere that there is a bug in the way that works.

If you have already created the site, go into site admin and under site
settings clear the email server alias field.

Then, setup a user for that domain and *under that user* add in the
appropriate aliases: info, webmaster, whatever, *plus* something like these
for the catchalls -- @yourdomain.com, @www.yourdomain.com,
@mail.yourdomain.com.

That user should then receive all the email that isn't specifically
addressed to a valid alias for any user under that domain.

rks
