Has anyone set up a mailing list for this yet?

My first thoughts - the files should be flocked when opening/writing so they
won't be corrupted when/if two people sign up at the same time. And a few
quick configurations and an extra file with the current available IP block
will take care of those people who need a dedicated IP (anonftp, ssl).
I'm still trying to figure out a couple of the german variables in the
beginning; I *think* I have most of them, but am checking with Moritz to
make sure and to find out what the other ones ($kk?) are.
