One of my clients who already has a domain on my server has gotten a second
domain with a .com.au extension and is trying to point it at the server as
well. However, whatever service she's registered the .com.au name with is
giving her fits trying to switch it over so it will point at my machine.
Here's what it's telling her:
"www.allaboutchoice.com is referenced as a NS for domain deepblueweb.com.au
by server raven.allaboutchoice.com, but www.allaboutchoice.com is not listed
as a DNS server on the form. If www.allaboutchoice.com should be a DNS
server for deepblueweb.com.au, then go back and put it in the list on DNS
servers on the form. Otherwise you probably need to ask the owner of
raven.allaboutchoice.com to remove the 'NS www.allaboutchoice.com' for
deepblueweb.com.au on server raven.allaboutchoice.com."
Now, I've got dozens of sites on my machine that point at
raven.allaboutchoice.com and hawke.allaboutchoice.com (my first and second
name servers); and the machine itself is www.allaboutchoice.com as set up by
the Cobalt interface when the machine was first turned on. They're all
working great, no problems.
Any ideas why this one name isn't working, or what I can do to help her out?
I'm not sure if this is a Cobalt thing, a DNS thing, or an Aussie thing
(.au). :)
Thanks for any help you can provide...
