Hi.. I'm planning to use cmu (Cobalt migration utility) to backup sites on
a raq2 and maybe a raq3 and 4, and I have a couple of questions:
I need to use nfs to send the files directly to the backup server as they
are created. Is there any howto or something to use nfs on a raq2 (and raq3
& 4)?
I see that the cmu manual says that I have to stop all the services before
I use cmuExport. Is there any danger if I don't stop the services? I tried
exporting only 1 site without stopping the services, and I didn't have any
problem. Is it safe to export everything with all the services running?
Also, I saw a lot of bug reports (problems with users, index.html files,
etc). The version I installed on the raq2 is:
$Id: cmuImport,v 1.25.4.10 2000/10/09 16:45:21 jeffb Exp $
Are the bugs fixed (jeff?)
Thanks for your help.. bye.
Ariel.
