[cobalt-users] [Qube2]Follow up to earlier post re blocking Users/Hosts/Domains

Hi Gang!
This is a follow up to my earlier question.

I ***think*** [SWAG="Scientific Wild Ass Guess"] that the form field in
the GUI
Control Panel |Email Server | Parameters | Block email from these
Users/Hosts/Domains
writes to /etc/mail/access
I think I proved that by adding a blocked user in the GUI, and saw my
changes updated in the /etc/mail/access file after sendmail had stopped
and restarted.

This file has a "custom" line that **seems to** say that if you are
making any changes by hand (not via the GUI) that the changes should be
made below that line.
Can anyone confirm that this is, in fact the case?

In the same directory is a file named access.db. Another SWAG is that
once the /etc/mail/access file is written out, then something happens to
update (rewrite/rebuild?) the access.db file
1.Can anyone confirm this reasoning??
and as a follow up question;
If I manually add to the /etc/mail/access file, what command would I
issue (as root) to rebuild the access.db??

Regards,
-Colin
