Jeff I looked into this problem and found I too had a RAQ3 disguised as a
RAQ4 here is the Gist of the conversation with Cobaltracks.com I thought
Cobalt Might be interested as he is blaming it on you guys.
I just got off the phone with Tom Surmiak, and he told me that he is in a
meeting, and that they have just tested the most recent bunch of servers
that they got by opening them up ,and they have the 450 processor in them,
he went on to state that he has no idea why mine has a 300processor, and he
is aware of the webhostingtalk.com discussions and I asked why are there at
least 15 customers that have a raq4i contract and only have raq3is, he
stated that he doesnt know that there are that many, I told him that between
my emails and different discussion groups there are more than 15 people with
this same problem.
The end result was that I told him that I wanted my hard drive pulled out of
my raq and inserted into a raq4i with 450mhz processor. He said that he
made a note of it, and will have a technician do it, he asked if it mattered
what time of day that they do this, and I told him that it does not matter
since their connectivity is so bad that to have the server down for an hour
or more really doesnt matter since most people cant get to the site anyway
because of their connection problems.
I reminded him that on one occasion that his flunkies tell me that they have
a DOS attack and the next minute they tell me that it's cable and wireless
upgrading their infrastructure. It's bull shit all the way around. End
result will be that they will pull my hard drive and put it into a known
raq4i with a 450mhz processor.
Seems strange that other providers dont have this problem, you signup for a
raq4i with them and you get a raq4i.
He also went on to state that he is not an attorney and when confronted with
the fraud charges he said that he could not comment on that since he is not
an attorney and does not know about that.

Yes, I would also suggest this course of action. Since people can take an
RaQ 4 OS Restore CD and use it on a RaQ 3, I am not all the surpised to see
this happen. I think Cobalt would also have a vested interest in seeing
this practice stopped and revoking any partnerships currently standing with
this dealer.
