Re: [cobalt-users] Legal Action / Cobalt Racks.com

Thank you for the note carrie, I have called CR and have only gotten voice
mail, I have stated to them that I have been on the phone with cobalt tech
support and that they have informed me that I am indeed on a cobalt raq3.

I have then placed a call to CR and gotten voice mail, I give them till the
end of the business day today to respond. I left a polite message on Mr
Surmiak's voice mail stating the facts that i am on a raq3 as told by cobalt
themselves, and that I would like to give them the opportunity to make the
situation right and that they should call me today, i'll be home for the
better part of the day.

I'll now wait and see if they bother to respond or just close up shop and go
home without bothering to call me.

I think fraud in any shape or form is not to be tolerated. I asked the tech
support person if they knew of cobalt shipping any cobalt raq's that are
supposed to be 4i's with a 300mhz processor, and she stated that she knew of
nothing like that, that has *ever* happened at cobalt.

While I can't say that this isn't a goof of CR, it really doesn't look good
that everyone that I have been able to contact so far that is a customer of
CR and is on a 4i has a 300mhz processor.

You stated the following:
just say that from the
> communication I've had today with CR, they are going to try to make things
> right.

What have they told you that your not telling us that make you believe that
they are going to try to make things right? It would go far to calm me down
knowing what steps are being taken to fix this situation. And do you really
want to stay with a company that has deceived you (tricked you) into
believing that you are on a raq4 and put you on a raq3 as well as many other
people.

Sure, I could apparently get by on a raq3, but then again I could be paying
99.00 a month for a raq3 at tera-byte.com and know that I am on a rq3 and
not a rq4.

Thats my 2 jelleybeans in a jar.
