[cobalt-users] ftp slow and dns setup question from a newbie

Hello cobalt-users,

  I have setup my cobalt raq 4i day before yesterday and named it
  web.awareindia.com  now the problem is
  1] i cant login via ftp using the domain name domain awareindia.com
  has been registered before but was not setup on any server so it is
  not a resolved domain. i have also setup my primary and secondary
  nameservers on this domains as ns and ns1.awareindia.com now the
  problem is do i have to setup or configure ns and ns1.awareindia.com
  on my raq server [dns service has been enabled].
  2] when i do ftp using my ip address it takes long time to receive
  the welcome message as well as after logging in its takes a lot of
  time to list the files and directories. as for reverse dns is
  concerned i have set it up any kind soul can let me know how to
  check whether the reverse dns service is working or not if this
  question is foolish please don't laugh at me since i am not well
  versed with dns [never worked before on it]
  3] i can browse through ip no. but not using my domain. any problem
  from my side? please guide me.
  4] if i send email to that domain it doesn't bounce as well as i can
  receive the email using ip no. as my incoming mail server [just for
  your info]

  Any kind souls please help me out of this problem i am really
  frustrated with this problem.
