the web interface stores -AFAIK- it`s data in a postgres database.
maybe the database was deleted when you uninstalled the rpm ? that would
be bad news.
for obvious reasons i did not play around much with these things, so i
don`t know if this data can be rebuilt from scratch.

if the web interface`s database is still there, you might try to use it
under the new postgres.
