I have a problem.
I was trying to update the postgresql database on my Raq3 from 6.5.2 to
7.0.3-2.
During my efforts to perform the update, I uninstalled the 6.5 series
RPMs and installed the 7.0 series RPMs. Somewhere along the way, my Web
interface ceased to work. The first thing I noticed
was the list of virtual sites failed to list my sites.
Scared that I deleted all my sites, I did some checking.
All my sites are available from the web.
Also all user accounts are intact.
My original motivation for performing the upgrade was so I could restore
a large table on my raq3 for one of my databases.
The 6.5 postgresql would give me a message saying:
max query buffer 16834 limit exceeded.
and consequently fail to restore my table. It was mentioned in the
Postgres newsgroups, that the 7.0 version did not have the limitation of
the buffer limit. I was successful in installing the
postgresql server. I was successful in restoring my table via pg_dump.
I have been reading postings from this newsgroup. I have tried some of
the suggested solutions.
1. telnet to raq server,
su to root,
cd /usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/siteList/
./siteList.cgi
CTRL-D to terminate
Theoretically, this solution is supposed to regenerate the sitelist.
It did not.

2. Click 'Add Virtual Site'
Fill out form with new website information.
Theoretically, this solution is supposed to regenerate the sitelist.
An 'Internal Server Error' occurred.

My questions are these:
1. How can I restore the functionality of my Administrative Web
Interface ?
2. What is the correlation between Postgres and the Web Interface ?
Any assistance you might provide is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
