How pathetic - Get a life ...
<snip>

I have a life thanks. It's not pathetic.

<snip>
1. I have no experience at all and bought from UK2 as well 3 months ago

Means I bought a three year lease! Which if anyone who looks at UK2 will
know exactly what the terms are.
<snip>

You didn't buy a lease (unless you bought from an existing customer), you
took out a lease. YOU RENT! I also disagree with your comments that anyone
looking at UK2 would know exactly what the terms are. The Advertising
Standards Authority ARE acting on complaints from customers that the
information on UK2's web site is misleading.

<snip>
2. Secondly - you gutless pedantic wimp - If you have something to say to a
post I make ... kindly reply to the list - which I believe is the correct
proceedure.
<snip>

I did reply to the list! Just as you have probably tried to reply to the
list and it came directly to me! I have however ensured that this message is
copied to the list.

<snip>
3. Thirdly, clearly you have some kind of personality disorder and I would
suggest urgent treatment, you really need not to be concerned with my
finanacial arrangemements with UK2 and to be attending to your own sad
miserable life
<snip.

No comment.

<snip>
4. Sounds to me like UK2 have hurt you profits - well dont come whining to
me
<snip>

UK2's business model hasn't affected me at all. I have been in business for
over 20 years and hope to be around in another 20 years. I know that I can
provide a customer with exactly what they contract for. UK'2's strategy
would APPEAR to be boom and bust.

Hypothetical situation. In 1 or 2 years time, what if UK2 can't provide
their customers with the bandwidth they are entitled to under contract?
Almost all of the money you pay goes towards hardware, if they lease 1,000
RaQ's and every one is entitled to 5Gb transfer per month, how much is it
going to cost them for bandwidth? Will they have the funds to pay for this?
If they don't have the funds and go into liquidation where does that leave
their customers? The hardware doesn't belong to the customer and will be
sold!!! Any equity will go to preferred creditors.

So the sites you host on the leased server are probably your customers. If
the server goes down, it's you who gets egg on your face. Any customers who
would find themselves in such an unfortunate situation would be made most
welcome at my door, including you.

Apart from anything else, why RENT when you can purchase outright for less
than the cost of the 3 year up front payment to UK2? Due to recent changes
in the budget, you can now claim 100% tax relief on computer related
products including web sites.
