When we have a client who's still unsure of the domain name they're looking
for, I point them to CDomain Pro's "Domain Name Wizard".  This usually gives
them plenty of domain names to choose from.  You can also link directly to
an order form from a successful search via CDomain.  You can customize the
"look & feel" of CDomain Pro, but it costs you.  When we purchased it, the
going price was $100, and at that time it was the only one with a domain
name search wizard and a reasonable price tag.  Things may have changed
since then, but I haven't been in the market for a whois utility for some
time.
