in the server email alias field in the site settings make the email server
alias domain.com not host.domain.com. Thats what I had to do. Now it works
fine.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Raq4 Sub Domain & Pine Problems
Cobalt Tech support is looking into the following
problems after migrating a RaQ3i to a RaQ4i, and I
would like to know if anyone on the list experienced
this problem and if there is a quick fix I can do
myself.
Background: Migrate RaQ3i to RaQ4i with the Migration
Tool. All successful.
Updated all DNS and MX records.
Problem 1:
When sending email to users of a Sub-Domains as
user@xxxxxxxxxx I get a return error "553 User Not
Found Here" but if I send the email to the
user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx they get the email.
Problem 2:
Telnet in to the server and use PINE:
Admin is the only account that will send a mail
message through the pine program. The standard mail
program will work for everyone. All other users that
send with PINE get "error 553 can not send mail"
If anyone has a fix to these problems which is looking
like they are tied together, please contact me on or
off the list.
Thank you in advance.
