Hi - Iv installed Webalizer v2.0 on my RaQ3.
For some reason all the new /web/stats directorys are created by user 'root'
Im told (thanks Beth!) that they need to be created and owned by user
'nobody'
I have edited the file /etc/cron.d/webalizer and changed it to:
12 4 * * * nobody /usr/local/bin/webalizer.pl
but it appears to be creating them as user 'root' still.
can anyone help me?
Iv mailed MrUnix (the author) and he just says
'The wealizer does not alter the user/group or permissions of the files it
produces.. it simply uses the defaults of whatever user is running the
program.'
help :-)
