RE: [cobalt-users] un-zip on raq 3 w/ telnet

You can use a utility like WinZip on your windows box and transfer
them to your cobalt via FTP. Once you have the file on your cobalt
you can ssh in and use "unzip <filename> to uncompress your file.

As for using tar, you should use gzip in conjunction to provide
compression to your tar files. You would do this with:
tar cvfz <output filename.tar.gz> <files/directories to be tarred
and zipped>

To untar/gzip you would "tar xvfz filename.tar.gz"

Take care.
