Of course it doesn't. See definitions below:
1. Colocation = You send "YOUR" server, running "YOUR" software, that
"YOU" manage.
2. Dedicated Server = You "RENT" "OUR" server, running whatever OS/server
software is installed. You do NOT own it, nor do you send one. You just
rent the use of the server in addition to paying for the bandwidth, etc.
To conclude, the key difference between colo and dedicated servers is
that you own the COLO, ie., it is yours. And the dedicated server is NOT
yours.
