As this seems to be a fairly common problem with the root partition, is
there any consensus-- from a performance and ease of maintenance
standpoint-- on which root directories should be mapped and symbolically
linked to the home directory to restore some headroom to the root
partition? Any consensus-- performance and maintenance-- on how the home
directory should be organized to accomodate this? Conversely, which
directories should *not* be mapped and symbolically linked?
I am on a Qube2 and hit the ceiling when I added PHP4/MySQL.
Many thanks,
--Tim
