Sorry, I goofed on the last reply.  
I believe that you can add network aliasing like this:
/sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 127.0.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0
and then for you next customer domain you can go up to 254 domains like
this:
/sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 127.0.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.1
/sbin/ifconfig eth0:0 127.0.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.2
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.  I believe this is how Cobalt
is able to serve upto 250 or 255 addresses on a single IP.
You then use DNS to point each different domain name to the different
netmask all on the same Old IP.
