Just a thought or opinion here, (slightly off-thread) sparked from the above
snippet. It seems we all know that upgrades/patches whether Cobalt, Cisco
IOS, or other software always come with caveats ? It was driven into my
skull long ago to test, test, and then test again in a non-production
environment before "going live." It's a money (revenue stream) vs. risk
(customer sat) thing. Therefore, I take every opportunity to do so today. I
have to wonder if those on the list whose business is "hosting" do this ? Or
if it is more a "seat of the pants" deployment. The list questions sometimes
seem to point to the latter but, I am curious what the general mind-set is
here...thoughts ?
