In looking at the proftpd doco after the 1.2.0 fix on a Qube2, I notice it
discusses using PAM for authenication. However, no /etc/pam.d/ftp file exists.
Should this install on a Qube2 do PAM authenication?
I am having problems establishing a ssh2 port forward ftp session and wondered
if the lack of using PAM might be causing me a problem?
The /usr/doc/proftpd-1.2.0rc2/README.PAM file discusses installing PAM for
proftpd. If I create a /etc/pam.d/ftp file as it describes, do I need to shut
and restart anything to have it take effect?
Thanks.
Mike.
