[cobalt-users] Florian -Re: Can't get rid of a User - which files?

Hi Florian - and List,

I have installed all the latest updates to my RAQ3i.  The files which I edited in order to delete the hidden user are:-

Virtusertable - then rebuilt the database
Aliases - then rebuilt the aliases.db
Then - in the /etc directory there are a number of files which have the same name but with a - on the end.  e.g. group and group-
shadow and shadow-

I found the renegade user name in every file which had a corresponding file followed by a - sign.  After deleting the user name in
all of these the system did actually register that the user was no longer there! I have to say that was more than the 30 strong
support team could do but then I guess I was on a mission and, hey, they have many more users than me to cope with!
