Anyone know how to restore an backup ( I have striped the raq file to a tar
file) and keep the permissions on the files for each user? ( I,m doing a
complete restore of
/home
/usr
/etc
/var
I unpack the Tar file with tar -xzvf to a directory under my
home/sites/home/users/admin/backup directoy and then copy the files to
/home
/usr
/etc
/var
with the following command " cp -Rfv source destination
When this is done root is the owner of all the files on the Raq, I will have
the system users to keep their permissions and there must be an command for
that in "tar" and "cp"
And to all you Raq2 users : Do not try to install the
"RaQ2-en-Update-OS-3.0.pkg" from Cobalt tru the GUI. It crashed my complete
server.
