G'day folks ...
One of our clients has been subject to a severe DOS attack over the past
couple of days.
We've removed his DNS settings, but the mail still floods in.
Our RAQ is at catalog.com, and frankly they could care less - this is their
ONLY response, other than "we have no access to the router, so we can't
block anything. There is a section in the Admin GUI to reject email from
hosts/domains/IPs. You can enter the information in this section to block
the SPAM."
Like that wasn't the second thing we did.
The CPU load shows heavy (up between 5.5 and 7.1) and the temperature
hovers around 55 degrees celsius.
Any advice would be appreciated. what's meltdown on the machines (RAQ3, 256
meg RAM)??
Cheerz,
/\/\\/\/.
