I can only say, I've done several test (during INTER-OPS) with
multi-homing and the consecus to all tests show 1 thing!!!
IT DOESN'T WORK IN PRACTICE!
There are places where it works (semi-works) but in the end you need to
set one access-ISP as primary and the other one as secondary, then get
your own AS, router and use BGP4 and use the IP-range from the secondary
ISP as your primary IP-range and get the first ISP to publish that range
through their AS and consequently breaking up the secondary ISP'S
CIDER-block... And then hope the secondary ISP set the cost of route
higher than the primary ISP otherwise it won't work...
What do we learn from this??? Do multi-homing, but with the same ISP but
to 2 different physical locations and hope the ISP has more than 1
connection to the Internet...
Politics is stronger than practice...
