[cobalt-users] Need review of how to set up for a full backup of the Cube-2.

Gentlemen,

Am looking to do a full backup of the hard disk of a Cube-2 to assure that a
failed disk will not bring down the company.

So far I have been able to figure out:

1.  There is a PCI slot in the back of the Cube-2.  I probably should fill
it with a SCSI PCI slot (or SCSI II if the external drive needs it).

2.  There seems to be something called Legato which is supposed to back up
the drive; but nothing seems to state that an option is the ENTIRE drive.

3.  There is a license fee but it is not stated so I can't go to management
with the true cost.

4.  The program seems to be controlled from the net, which is ok, but there
is no statement that this Legato program will capture everything including
the boot block and its associated information.

5.  Can anyone enlighten me as to where I am missing information?  Is there
a FAQ that discusses all of this in fine detail?
