I have got around the problem of allowing relaying from dynamic IP
addresses by using POP-Authenticated SMTP Relaying Release 1.2-4, which
I installed without a hitch.
Prior to using this, I'd tried registering an address with
www.DynIP.com - this gives you a static host name, eg, myhost.dynipc.com
which has its IP address updated whenever you go online.
I had thought that entering myhost.dynip.com in the Relaying section
would allow me to relay through my RAQ3. Alas, it did not.
Does anyone else tried this and had more success?
