[cobalt-users] [Qube2] Failure during mips_tools install

I tried to install the mips_tools package on my Qube2
(ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/developer/Kernel/mips/All-Kernel_mips_tools-1.0.pkg)
and ran into tons of problems. A few questions:

1. Has anybody else installed that package? Did you get errors? Did you
install it before or after the most recent OS update?

2. Is there an installer log kept anywhere? I couldn't find one.

3. Most of the install seemed to work, but in the process the file
/usr/admserv/html/.cobalt/install/index.html was truncated to zero-length.
Has anybody seen that before?
