You say "could", right...
A linux-running 486-33 with 16 megabytes of memory can easily saturate 4
T-1 lines.
Or so I've been told <smile>.

We very seldom go over 100 kbps. A client of ours with about 250 sites
on a RaQ2 with 128 meg of memory has never gone over 200 kbps. (95%
measuring) But of course that's dependent on how many hits you get.

Of course that's a limiting factor. As I recall, ethernet 10baseT
(which is what your RaQ has) maxes out at a "real" 7.5 - 8 mbps, as
opposed to a theoretical 10 mbps. That's 2666 gigs per month. Do you
have any idea how much that connectivity would be costing you? Most
colos are at about $300 per 100 gigs, presuming even usage (which is
unlikely, so the numbers will be even higher.
If I required that kind of connectivity and were spending the $8,000 per
month it would cost, I'd probably want a much more robust server; if I
were using that much connectivity I certainly should be able to afford
one.
