I think I'll make myself clear - the reason for copyright is not 
self-aggrandisement (lovely word, eh?), it's to make sure that it
remains freely distributable, and that it doesn't find itself in 
a book "authored" by someone else.  I know, dream on, but it's
happened enough times.

So, if you have copyright, it needs to be assigned.

The following (at least) had input (no particular order):

Regarding the Sun takeover, perhaps we should let the dust settle 
before putting something in the meta-FAQ.
