Re: [cobalt-users] DNS Question?

Hi Lorraine

Yes The RaQs are going down the same time.
DNS Records: for NS1.MEDIADOMAIN.NET 62.6.167.38
 ( A ) Record : ns1.mediadomain.net>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>62.6.167.38
(PTR)Record: 62.6.167.38>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ns1.mediadomain.net
( A ) Record : mediadomain.net>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>62.6.167.38
( A ) Record : mail.mediadomain.net>>>>>>>>>>>>>>62.6.167.38
( A ) Record : www.mediadomain.net>>>>>>>>>>>>>>62.6.167.38
(PTR)Record: 62.6.167.38 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>mediadomain.net
( MX)Record: mediadomain.net>>to high priority mail server>>>>>
mail.mediadomain.net

That's how is set up our DNS and work perfect WHEN THE RaQs ARE UP AGAIN!
When I Tracerout on the IP 62.6.167.38 doesn't correspond the Name Server
NS1.MEDIADOMAI.NET
Is coming up like this : 62.6.167.38 ......................*
And when I run nslookup for the IP 62.6.167.38 is coming ........... NO
Reverse DNS.

Can you tell me what's happening

Cheers
John Milo
