[cobalt-users] Linux to Solaris

I'm not sure if this list is the place to do it, but I would love to see a
detailed discussion of what the issues with the potential move to Solaris
would be. I've been using Linux for a while now, and have never touched
Solaris, so I have a lot of similar questions to those raised by others.
What are the additional costs going to be?
What portability issues are there with LAMP (Linux Apache Mysql PHP) based
sites?
How will this affect customer support?
Is anyone here a user of both Linux and Solaris? What are your thoughts on
this move?
If it seems like the move to Solaris is agreed by the people on this list to
be a bad one, one would hope Sun would take their user base seriously.
