First, I apologize for cross posting this but I thought I should.
Just spotted this on slashdot.

It seems Sun is strongly considering moving cobalt boxes to Solaris!?! In
the article the Sun reps says "You do not care about the operating system.
If we were to convert these over to Solaris, the end-user wouldn't care. We
don't have the energy to drive two operating systems."
Well I for one DO CARE! The reason I went with a cobalt was that it was
more than just an appliance. The Linux meant that I could also add almost
any software and there would be a huge user community to support me.
Anyone else have any feelings on this? Anyone want to start an online
petition to let Cobalt know our feelings?
