See the recent threads on DNS in the archives; we've just dealt with the
topic (I posed the question) and several people had useful things to say.
Particularly look at "recursive DNS" in the archives.
Short answer: your DNS server does this by default, no configuration
required. You set it up to answer things it knows about; anything else, it
goes and asks the two nameservers you configured for it in the Control
Panel -> Network -> Ethernet part of the admin interface.
