Leave the SOA record alone unless you know what you're changing and why.
You need an A record for each domain, as domain.com, and one for each
domain as www.domain.com.
You also need an MX record pointing domain.com to domain.com (looks
redundant, but it's not). Anything else you're doing depends on what
you're doing. For example, if you're setting up ftp.domain.com, then
you need an A record or a CNAME record for ftp.domain.com.

You don't use the SOA part of DNS for the secondary server records
you'll be setting up on the second RaQ.

As I said, on the second RaQ, you just set up a secondary record for the
domain, pointing to 111.111.111.111. The SOA is NOT used, so it doesn't
matter what it says.

Has nothing to with DNS, I'd bet. Have you called customer support at
your colo provider?
