Hi everyone,
We have a Qube 2700 WGS (I think this is a Qube 1) which I suspect
has a faulty built in ethernet port. We are getting errors like the
following on a regular basis:
--
Over the past 7 days 1 hours 57 minutes, the network has been heavily
loaded [ 33% collision rate ]
--
We have tried different ethernet cables, ethernet switch ports and
settings, even plugging it into a hub with only one other computer
connected. The collisions occur as soon as we start copying files to
and from the Qube.
I'm guessing that I need to put in a new 10/100 ethernet card into
the PCI(?) slot on the qube, however I would appreciate any
recommendations that would make this as painless as possible. Also
if anyone has any step by step instructions for configuring the Qube
once the card is in, they would be very appreciated indeed!
Thanks in advance
