Dependng on the version of sendmail you might also need
to link the program in /usr/adm/sm.bin, which defines what
programs sendmail can run as a pipe.  

expample:
$ (cd /usr/adm/sm.bin;ln -s /home/sites/site1/autoresp.pl)
