RE: [cobalt-users] .forward (aliases)



Hi Mike, I'm assuming you meant Perl instead of CGI...

If you want to run a script each time mail is received by a
specific account, in your /etc/aliases, put the line:

myresponder:	"|/home/sites/site1/autoresp.pl"

Now any mail to myresponder@xxxxxxxxxxxx will be passed to
the stdin of your autoresp.pl script.

Don't forget to run `newaliases` after altering your aliases file.
