Have you generated a self signed certificate yet?  If you skip this step
after you enable SSL, you won't be able to get it to work.

You can generate a self signed certificate from "SSL Settings" which is
located under "Modify Site".  Just enter all the information it asks for,
and click "Generate Self-signed Certificate" at the bottom of the screen.
