Been there, done that... We met the original crew at their first trade
show, way back when (really not that long ago). We have had great
contacts for some time, and a 1 on 1 relationship at times with our
contact/s. Been out for beers, burgers, you name it, with my Cobalt
buddies... It is just that in recent months this relationship has been
waning. I really do not feel that I should have to go the extra mile in
this case to push for a continuing relationship with the higher ups,
etc..., when I am one of many paying the bills so to speak. We buy a lot
more RaQs now, then we did in the days when Cobalt first came out with
their Cube (which we had as a demo, from that first trade show) and the
RaQ1 (when it finally came out months later).

Look, I am not complaining, nor am I whining.. In todays world I come to
expect as much from companies in Cobalt's position. I remember one cold,
stormy day when one of our Cobalt Reps came out to meet us in the
doldrums of South East Wisconsin on the nastiest, snowy day in Wisconsin.
He braved the storm, and showed up in a SAAB with California plates.
What a trip for him? Somehow I think he had never seen snow before. He
was dressed for 70-80 degree whether, and no one is Wisconsin drives a
SAAB in the winter. Anyway, I am not looking for "bend over backwards"
service here, or the "good old times". What I am looking for is a simple
way to communicate with a company that we spend a lot of money with.

Enough said..
