[cobalt-users] .htaccess reference?

Could someone please point me to a good reference regarding
.htaccess and the order/allow/deny/require semantics. I am trying
to restrict access to a site while maintaining publishing access
to select users and the hierarchy of .htaccess within the
FrontPage Extensions has me just a bit confused. I got it to work
the way I want, but only partially understand why... sigh...
